Sigma QA - Software for Editing Companies

 

This software fulfills the requirement of those companies who get's the files transcribed from other MT companies and work only as editing companies. It provide a very elegant solution and remove all the headaches of transferring files from server to desktop and viceversa. The Document files for each audio file could be automatically picked. So it saves lot of time of manually seeking for the doc files and hence improve the efficiency and increase the productivity of the QAs.

Everyday at the server level, all the audio files are inserted. After that a report is generated which displays the audio files along with their MB, in three categories. i.e. files < 500 MB, files < 1000MB and files > 1000MB.

From this report the audio files are allocated to each QA. From here onwards the QA work on their respective files. In the QA screen he selects the centre to work on. All the related audio files which are allocated to that QA are listed in the box. Once the QA selects the audio file, the corresponding document file, if it exist, is opened in MS Word, automatically. QA works on the file and accordingly mark the errors, give the remarks and send the file as Deliverable, Checkname or Flag. The line count and the file size is automatically calculated. In this manner QA work on all the files.

The software provides very useful reports on daily work.

QA Performance Datewise :
	This report shows all the document files against each audio files, worked on. It also provide the line count, remarks, file MB and its accuracy.
QA Performance Summarised :
	It provides all the details mentioned above on the date range selected.
	Other reports include : Accuracy Report, Production Report QAwise, Production Report Centrewise.
